Back Up Pads for Fiber Discs
Smooth face pads can be use for grinding and finishing. Spiral cool face are designed to increase air flow and reduce heat build up.

Back up pads for fiber discs greatly enhance the performance of sanding discs. When aiming for a finishing sanding, it’s preferable to choose a smooth backing pad as it allows for better adaptation to the workpiece. However, ribbed or Cool Air pads are ideal for coarse sanding since they enable applying greater pressure, thus achieving a higher material removal rate.
