The fan-shaped arrangement of the flaps allows the 6-inch wheel to fully adapt to the contours of the workpiece.
Infos:
The unmounted flap wheel has a diameter of 6 inches. It is composed of aluminum oxide flaps arranged in a fan shape. Thanks to this arrangement, it perfectly fits to the contours of the workpieces and is well suited for profiled parts. During sanding, as the abrasive wears on the flaps, the fan-shaped arrangement allows a new abrasive section to be exposed, providing the wheel with great longevity. This feature also ensures a consistent finish, without visible sanding marks.
