Zirconia + Grinding Aid – Type R
The fastener allow quick changeovers between grits or tools using the same mounting system. The addition of multiliant allows cold polishing and reduces early clogging of the disc.

The quick-change Type R disc with zirconium and grinding aid is ideal for tasks requiring a high level of material removal. The multiliant grinding aid helps reduce heat buildup during sanding. This additive also helps reduce clogging of the disc when working on soft metals, such as aluminum. The plastic adapter of the Type R attachment allows the disc to be quickly and easily attached by simply rotating it 180° after pressing it onto the backing pad.
